Judy is the owner and winemaker at Puriri Hills. She is a perfectionist dedicated to producing New Zealand’s best merlot and cabernet wines.

Phil and Judy joined forces in 2005. Phil heads the vineyard and styles himself as “chief cellar rat” in the winery. He has been with Air New Zealand for 40 years and still captains 747’s when he’s not working with Mark, Letitia and Conor in the vineyard.

Evert is our consulting winemaker and guru. He is former chief winemaker at Alpha Domus and Paritua, now doing consulting for several wineries. He has taught us the craft of winemaking over 10 years and is an essential part of the wine style of Puriri Hills.
